Popular Programs

Interactive workshops aimed at increasing audience exposure to and confidence in equity, inclusion, belonging, justice (EIBJ), accountability, difficult conversations, and authenticity topics. Can be offered as one hour, half day, full day, and multi-day programs and/or as retreat style. The following is just a sample of the programs I offer and I’m able to customize existing content to meet your needs. Please reach out and I’d be happy to customize an existing program or create new programming.

Radically & Authentically Me

So much of our lives are focused on finding spaces where we belong – where we can experience care, love, and support. Our lives are filled with moments where we feel like we aren’t enough and hopefully some really beautiful moments where we feel completely and radically ourselves. The journey to becoming your authentic self doesn’t happen overnight and definitely isn’t easy. Join the presenter as we examine three phases of becoming your authentic self – exploration, naming it, and then claiming it – to become a better friend, family member, employee, and person to and for yourself.

Lean into the Uncomfortable: Tools for Difficult Conversations

Engaging in difficult conversations is becoming more and more challenging for a variety of reasons. We are struggling to navigate conflict in a productive way, which is breaking down our teams, relationships, and our ability to work together. This session will focus on embracing the discomfort associated with difficult conversations through a lens of grace, seeking to understand, and the belief authentic feedback is a radical act of love. The goal is to equip attendees with the tools and confidence to skillfully navigate difficult conversations while also building our communication skills, trust within our relationships, and supportive environments.

Raising Our Consciousness Together

Are you seeking to build a deeper understanding of equity, inclusion belonging, justice (EIBJ)? This education is needed now as much as it has ever been. This program explores basic definitions of these terms and how they apply day-to-day, reviews the various reasons this work is vital, digs deeper into social identities and privilege, and gives the audience an opportunity to explore the concept of bias and how it shows up in our lives. This session is a great baseline-setting opportunity for any group, organization, or team to deepen their knowledge and build skills that assist in creating spaces where our humanity is prioritized.

Unlocking Your Team's Potential

Are you new to a team, or just wanting to create a strong team dynamic? Have you been on a team for a while but the team is just downright not “teaming?” Too often, we become hyper-focused on our individual responsibilities and forget that building a healthy connection among team members is crucial for our collective success. Join the presenter as we dig into how to build intentional teams through setting expectations and being accountable to them, being adaptable, centering our humanity, celebrating our wins and more!

Words Mean Things

Your words communicate your values, they tell someone if they will be safe with you, and they can be an immediate way to show someone they belong. It is an intentional effort we can engage in to create spaces where people feel seen, heard, valued, and validated. Join the presenter in discussing the power of language, its lasting impacts, how bias informs the words we use, and specific words/phrases that are exclusive and replacement language.

The Difficult Dance of Accountability

Accountability is critically assessing things we care about and should be viewed as an act of love for ourselves and others. Many of us want to be in the business of friendship and fun, not the business of confrontation and accountability. When accountability is done thoughtfully, the focus shifts from punishment and negativity to growth and necessary change. Let’s discuss the importance of expectation-setting, how to navigate challenging situations, and moving toward a culture of accountability.

Authentic Bonds through an Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, & Justice Lens

Our organizations are about creating spaces where people feel they belong, and many are struggling to build authentic bonds that go beyond the basics. Ask yourself, “How well do I actually know everyone in my organization?” This program addresses what authentic bonds are, how to get to know each other by centering equity, inclusion belonging, justice (EIBJ) and actions you can engage in to facilitate a deeper connection. When we have authentic bonds, we know each other well enough to effectively support one another.
